It was not the simple participation that I had originally anticipated. It really did not meet my expectations. I have some thoughts on why it was not successful, from a teacher point of view, but I will be surveying my students for their feedback before I share my reflection on this project.
Join me on my journey to bring my students into the global arena. With the guidance and support of Julie Lindsay and Vicki Davis and their book, "Flattening Classrooms, Engaging Minds: Move to Global Collaboration One Step at a Time," I am preparing to take my students beyond our walls.

First Attempt at Global Collaboration
I thought that the easiest way to become involved would be to join an established project. This would eliminate the need to figure out what we would do, who we would reach out to, and all the details and parameters involved in the project. What more could I ask for? A ready-made project to jump into.
